Maurice O Mahony
Business and Personal Performance CoachAbout Me
Coaching has always played a big part in my life. I’ve been greatly influenced over the years by coaches in school, in university, in sport and throughout my career in business. They have helped to shape me into the person I am today. Coaching is a lifelong passion of mine and it’s incredibly rewarding and fulfilling having the opportunity to engage with people and companies through my work. When people ask me why am I a coach, I give a very simple answer.
I love helping people.
I’ve gained a lot of experience over the last 30 years working in senior management roles in Marketing, Sales, Business Development, Consulting and Performance Coaching. I’ve worked with small and medium sized businesses across multiple industry sectors in Ireland and abroad. I’ve run my own small business for years. This enables me to understand the challenges facing the people and companies I work with and to help them to come up with ambitious, achievable and realistic plans and solutions.
My professional coaching credentials include an Advanced Diploma in Executive, Leadership and Personal Coaching from Kingstown College, Ireland and Membership of the EMCC : European Mentoring and Coaching Council. I am an EMCC Accredited Coach at Practitioner level (EIA Practitioner Level Accreditation).
In addition to my in-depth career experience, some of my professional business qualifications include a B. Commerce business degree from University College Cork and post graduate marketing qualifications from University College Galway and the University of Virginia Darden School Of Business. I am a graduate member of the Marketing Institute of Ireland.
